Turning a Bright Sunny Day into a Dark Rainy NightThe magic of photography! Here's how to capture a moody rainy night when it is a bright sunny day outside.
Tools used: Plastic sheet, White Sheet, Clamps, C-Stand, Boom arm hanging colored lights in back, add glycerine to water in spray bottle to make larger water drops. Background doesn't matter - Shooting at f7.1, 125th, ISO 200 the Inverse Square Law assures it will go black. Rogue grid on speedlight with 1/2 CTO as main @ 1/16 power Red Gel on Strobe to add outdoor atmosphere Grid on Beauty Dish with a cut of CTO to add light to back of hair (was to right side when shot)
